I have a floorplan that I like; but I would like to make the following changes:
1) Please find a both convenient and aesthetically pleasing place for an elevator. The elevator requires a 5 feet by 5 feet space. The 5 feet by 5 feet space has to be in the same location on the first floor as it is on the second floor without messing up the general appeal of the floor plan. Also, the elevator will only have one door; so the door has to face the same direction on the first floor as it does on the second floor.
2) Please find a both convenient and aesthetically pleasing place for a small coat closet. The coat closet can be small but should have enough hanging space for at least 12 coats.
3) Please make any other suggestions for general improvements to the plan as you see fit, after first solving the elevator and coat closet problem.
Note: We are neutral regarding the bar area. The bar area by the stairs can be left the same, removed altogether or changed. Also, the upstairs powder room is unnecessary and can be removed if appropriate. All of the other rooms should remain in the floor plan but can be tweaked or modified as necessary.
Hopefully this is an easy, straight-forward request. However, I have struggled for some time at finding an elegant placement for the elevator and coat closet.
We will choose the plan that most elegantly, conveniently and aesthetically places the elevator and coat closet.
