The taste level of this design was very very high. Many of the design choices made would make this a very appealing small unit in a city where square footgage is at a premium. However, this is not that city.
Creating an attractive breakfast bar that still works as a countertop simply by using a different finish was brilliant, as was the unobtrusive use of the corner as a wine rack. In almost any other situation placing it by the window would be a plus as well, however, too much opportunity to add storage or a washer/dryer is lost.
The finishes shown in the bathroom (while very attractive) would stretch the budget, while the addition of a bidet is generally not appealing for Americans. The biggest hits to this design were the lack of more storage and the lack of a washer/dryer.
