Nice ideas and we like how the work triangles fell out and function well. However a few drawbacks make this impractical - the fridge is allocated only 60cm for depth, when in reality it will need about 85cm. The passage between the island and the built in ovens is way too narrow. All the open shelving next the fridge is not so nice.
We greatly appreciate this perspective and your work is beautiful. The porte cochiere is cool but planting those structural supports in the already-narrow driveway would be dangerous. It's so tight now that we fear cars could someday hit the railings on the building. The Historic Review Board will be the final judge but we think is not likely they will let us completely remove the iron and we seriously doubt we could get this through that regulatory body. But the drawings are fabulous. And we appreciate your doing them and having this opportunity to compare.
Thanks for putting time into this design. This is beautiful as you've drawn it. However, I don't think the white wood and style match the house well. In the drawing, you've fixed that by changing the window trim and lintels to white, but in my write-up I mentioned that I am not open to changing the facade of the building. So although this is great on paper, it won't look nearly as good as a half-done execution.
Great renderings. Well thought-out design. We thought the design could've had more open space, instead of every area being its own "room."
