I am looking to remodel a small bathroom. Ideally I would like to not have to move any plumbing, e.g. e.g. toilet, vanity tub etc. I don’t have the budget for plumbing changes.
I would also not want to move any electrical such as plugs or switches unless absolutely necessary to the design.
Not every wall needs to have tile. I am happy with a combination of tile where it needs to have tile and paint everywhere else.
I am including examples to make your life easier. Some of these are ultra-luxury and not in my price range but a super creative designer can achieve a similar look by using less tile for instance.
The door of the bathroom is going to be replaced with a white six panel door.
Deliverables should be in the form of plans that an installer can understand as well as locations on where the tile, vanities etc. can be purchased.
I want a bathroom that looks like a million bucks without having to pay a million bucks. I am budget conscious and I am looking for a great result for little money. This is the biggest challenge here.
The bathroom is very small so options are very limited. Talent and creativity are definitely required. Consider this a challenge :)
* I want to replace the current bath tubs with new ones but I do not want to change their location.
* I like porcelain floor tiles that look like wood
* I like storage space
* The design has to be as affordable as possible.
* Ideally tiles, hardware and vanity should be available locally in Los Angeles. So anything for sale at Home Depot or Lowes or Ikea work great. It is also ok to pick hardware from Amazon.com or Wayfair.com.
